Home Cleaning.
Conventional household products are heavily involved in animal exploitation, as the companies behind these brands will commission animal experiments so new ingredients can be put on the market. This despite the fact that there are already safe ingredients on the market.
New ingredients such as enzymes, optical brighteners, surfactants and chemical builders have all been thoroughly tested on animals before being used in washing powders and other products.
The chemical cocktail in ingredients found in conventional household cleaners, detergents and soaps are also known to have detrimental and damaging effects on the environment, human and nonhuman animals.
So far, only 4 brands are suitable for vegans.
All these brands are not necessary from vegan companies but they do offer an excellent range of vegan products and none of them are tested on animals (they all operate on a fixed cut off date).
